Children are blessed with a natural curiosity along with their senses and so the Science lab at FIS believes in guiding them through this adventure. The pleasure our Pre - primary children derive from their visits is identical to what senior students experience when they explore, discover, hypothesize and draw conclusions as young scientists. 

Our students enjoy their journey through every aspect of science –be it using the telescope to view the surface of the moon or the use of microscopes to view the tiniest of organisms, be it the testing of various principles put forth by well known scientists or testing their own, be it simply collecting samples in their neighbourhood or testing the food groups, be it a dissection of plant parts or observation of the specimens, through it all they learn the basics in addition to the intriguing and never to be forgotten facts that the children encounter

After all as Mark Twain once said, “There is something fascinating about science.  One gets such wholesale returns of conjecture out of such a trifling investment of fact.”
