Independence Day Celebrations

Every Indian upholds and commemorates the sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters on 15^th August every year. This day not only serves as a reminder of the struggles experienced to gain freedom, but also awakens in each one of us the passion to take our nation forward in every way possible.  

At FIS, the 77th Independence Day was marked with a spirit of patriotism and passion that sparked love and respect for our nation. The national flag was hoisted with great fervour by the principal, Ms. Sneha Rai who also gave the children and teachers valuable advice on the importance of freedom in all our lives.

A heart-wrenching street-play, rhythmic rendition of ‘Jai Ho’, mesmerizing amalgamation of dances to represent the Indian tri-colours and effective choral singing were the highlights of the Independence Day Celebrations.
